When I was first approached by my clients to redesign their entrance hall, I had no clue that we would end up working on a whole house renovation spanning three years.
What began as minor improvements turned into a very substantial redesign for many key spaces, including the dining room, staircase, home study and artist workshop.
The top floor was entirely reconfigured and constructed by building team Intelligent Building UK - www.intelligentbuildinguk.co.uk - as a state-of-the-art master suite, including a large bedroom area, dressing room and generous en suite.
The bedroom dwarf walls were redesigned to flare out towards the balcony, enhancing a feeling of spaciousness and maximising the sea views:
We designed custom-made furniture for the suite, including a freestanding super king size bed in walnut and high gloss lacquer with integrated storage and lighting plus fitted wardrobes for a large dressing room and the rear of the property. At the apex of the pitched ceiling throughout the suite, we designed a lighting feature which included two separate circuits - one for down lights for practical use and a second circuit with hidden LED strip for ambient / mood lighting :
